Two men from Castlefield sentenced for arsons in High Wycombe

Two men from Castlefield have been sentenced after being convicted of arson in High Wycombe.
A male aged 20 of Spearing Road in High Wycombe was sentenced to three years and three months in prison.
A male aged 28 of Rutland Avenue in High Wycombe was sentenced to two years and nine months in prison.
The pair pleaded guilty at a previous hearing to a series of arson offences and were sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court on Friday 29th August 2014.
In the early hours of 4th May 2013 the two men set fire to a BMW X5, a Fiat Punto and a Citreon Berlingo Van in lane End Road, High Wycombe. They also set fire to a Seat Ibiza and a Mini in Crest Road, High Wycombe. All the vehicles were destroyed by the fires.
PC Chris Flowers from High Wycombe CID said: ‘I am happy that the two people responsible have received significant sentences for their actions and I would like to thank the victims for their patience whilst this matter has been investigated given the considerable disruption and financial impact as a result of their vehicles being destroyed.‘
