Witness appeal following robbery outside bookmakers in New Road, High Wycombe
A witness appeal have been launched by Thames Valley Police following a robbery outside Coral bookmakers in New Road, High Wycombe.
At about 4.45pm on Friday 29th August 2014 a man approached a 58-year-old man outside Coral bookmakers in New Road and stole a quantity of cash from the victim’s trouser pocket.
The victim was pushed towards a bin before the offender ran away and sustained bruising to his leg. He did not require hospital treatment.
The offender is mixed race, in his thirties, of medium build with a round face. At the time he was wearing a white baseball cap and a dark blue jacket.
A 31-year-old man from High Wycombe has been arrested in connection with the incident and released on police bail until 10th September 2014.
Police officers are appealing for anyone who has any information about the incident or who saw what happened to speak to police.
