Two Chesham men convicted of sexual offences against children

Two men from Chesham were convicted of sexual offences against children at Aylesbury Crown Court on Tuesday 9th September 2014.

A 32 year old man from Upper George Street, Chesham was found guilty by unanimous jury following trial of one count of inciting a child into prostitution, one count of trafficking within the UK and one count of sexual activity with a child.

A 21 year old man from Severalls Avenue, Chesham was also found guilty by unanimous jury following trial of one count of inciting a child into prostitution, one count of trafficking within the UK and one count of inciting sexual activity.

The convictions relate to offences which were committed in Chesham and Watford, Hertfordshire, involving two 15-year-old girls between 29th January 2012 and 31st January 2012.

Speaking following the hearing, Det Con Thomas Gregory, from Amersham Force CID, said: ‘After an investigation by Amersham Force CID into allegations of child sexual exploitation offences against two 15 year old girls, the defendants have today been convicted and will be sentenced at the same court on 3rd October 2014‘.
