NHS staff strike over pay

There were picket lines outside Wycombe Hospital and the Ambulance Station in Suffield Road on Monday 13th October 2014 as NHS staff staged a four strike over pay.

The industrial action, which is taking place throughout Buckinghamshire and the rest of England, is expect to last from 7.00am to 11.00am.

During the strike the leaders of the Unions participating in the action have said their members will be providing ‘life and limb’ cover. 999 calls will be answered and A&E units will remain open.
