Vauxhall Corsa’s targeted by thieves in Princes Risborough

Thames Valley Police are warning drivers of the older style Vauxhall Corsa to be vigilant following a series of recent thefts involving that model of car in the Princes Risborough area.

The most recent incidents occurred overnight between the 12th and 13th October 2014.

A blue Vauxhall Corsa was stolen from Westmead, Princes Risborough and was discovered crashed into a hedge row on Loosley Hill, Loosley Row (URN : 104 – 13/10/14).

A white Vauxhall Corsa was broken into which was parked on Park Farm Way, Princes Risborough and an attempt was made to steal it (URN : 179 – 13/10/14).

A blue  Vauxhall Corsa was broken into which was parked on Gatensbury Place, Princes Risborough and an attempt was made to steal it (URN : 330 – 13/10/14).

Thames Valley Police are appealing for anyone with information that will help their investigation of the aforementioned offences to get in touch  via the 24 hour monitored non emergency and general enquiry number 101. Alternatively, if you prefer to remain anonymous, call Crime stoppers on 0800 555 111. Please quote the URN number to the Police/Crime Stoppers operator.

Thames Valley Police are adivising owners of older styled Corsa to be vigilant and take extra care where possible to prevent your vehicle being targeted. Do not leave any property on show in your car and consider using a steering lock for added security.
