Delays are expected on the A40 in West Wycombe due to cable replacement work being carried out by Scottish and Southern Electric.
The works are scheduled to start week commenting Monday 13th October 2014 and last for four weeks.
During the works the electricity cable serving the High Street will be replaced to alleviate failures in electricity supply currently being experienced by residents and businesses in vicinity of West Wycombe High Street.
Eighteen months ago cable was replaced in the eastern part of the High Street in the hope it would rectify the supply issues, this did not turn out to be the case.
The latest cable replacement works will concentrate on the area from West Wycombe Post Office up to and past the junction with Chorley Road. Roadworks near the Chorley Road junction will take place in the school half term holidays in an attempt to minimise traffic disruption.
