Attempted burglary at house in The Drive, Amersham

On Sunday 19th October 2014 between 9.15am and 9.30am an attempted burglary occurred at a house in The Drive, Amersham.

The victim answered the door and spoke to a male who stated that he was a police officer and needed to gain access to the victim’s garden. When asked for his warrant card, the offender attempted to push his way past the victim but failed to gain entry as the victim managed to close the door. Nothing was stolen and no one was injured.
