Tree caught fire following lightning strike – Dorney Wood Road, Burnham

Lightning struck a tree at Dorney Wood Road, Burnham on the afternoon of Tuesday 21st October 2014 causing the tree to catch fire.

Firefighters were called at 2.53pm, one fire appliance with crew from Gerrards Cross attended the incident.

A hose reel and 10.5-metre ladder was used during the operation to extinguish the fire.
