MATCH REPORT – Wycombe Wanderers 1-1 Dagenham & Redbridge
Despite being the better team Wycombe Wanderers could only manage a 1-1 draw against Dagenham & Redbridge at Adams Park on Saturday 25th October 2014.
Wycombe could easily have taken the lead in the first half through a header from Peter Murphy but the effort hit the crossbar.
Cureton put Dagenham in the lead in the sixty third minute. Wycombe soon answered with a headed goal from Murphy in the eighty third minute from a cross provided by Sam Wood.
Dagenham were reduced to ten men shortly after when Wayne Burnett was shown the red card for dissent.
With 55% ball possession the Blues were by far the more dominant team. Their thirteen shots on goal, of which six were on target, showed the ferocity at which they attacked the Dagenham goal however shots simply did not materialise into goals today.
The draw means that Wycombe Wanderers have slipped from the top spot in League Two, they are now in a very respectable second place on 29 points.
