Four years in prison for man who burgled house at Downley Common
A 34 year old man from Aveling Road, High Wycombe was been sentenced to four years in prison for burglary at Aylesbury Crown Court on Wednesday 29th October 2014.
The man had pleaded guilty to one count of burglary.
Between 3.00pm and 3.40pm on Thursday 12th June 2014 the man was involved in a burglary in which jewellery and other items belonging to the 59 year old victim were stolen from a house in Downley Common.
The offender was arrested and charged the following day.
Det Con Caroline Timmis from Local CID High Wycombe said: ‘Thames Valley Police will not tolerate criminals in our community and I am pleased that a burglar has been taken off the streets so that he cannot prey on other victims.‘
