Millets to open new store in White Hart Street, High Wycombe

Millets, the outdoor clothing and equipment store, are to open a new branch at 30 White Hart Street, High Wycombe.

The existing Millets store located at 4-5 Church Street, High Wycombe has been displaying closing for ‘relocation’ posters in its windows for some days now.

Work is currently under way to ready the new shop in White Hart Street for trading.

30 White Hart Street was formerly occupied by a branch of Robert Dyas however the two storey, 333 square metre, retail unit has been empty since Robert Dyas closed their High Wycombe branch back in March 2014.

A planning application, reference 14/05776/FUL, in respect of the premises at 30 White Hart Street was made to Wycombe District Council on Thursday 27th March 2014 to change the use of 30 White Hart Street from Class A1 (shops) use to Class A3 (restaurant/cafe).

The change of use planning application was permitted on Thursday 29th May 2014 however the opening of a new branch of Millets will keep the unit as being used for shop retail purposes.
