Road surfacing works planned from 12th December 2014 to 18th December 2014

This week the Transport for Buckinghamshire (TfB) Christmas embargo came into force, as a result work on the main roads has been reduced.

Reactive maintenance work has continued with potholes still being filled and larger scale work has continued on more minor roads. The TfB Severe Weather Recovery Scheme is now complete.

The patching programme started this week. The following sites have received a visit using the DfT grant money for fixing potholes :

Turville Valley Road Turville
Swallow Street Iver
Lower Road Gerrards Cross
Mill Lane Gerrards Cross
Howard Avenue Aylesbury
The Green & Brook Street Edlesborough
Chiltern Road Ballinger
Horton Road Ivinghoe

Resurfacing work has been completed in the following locations:

Hampden Road, Hampden
Wood Lane, Iver

And footway repairs have been carried out at the sites listed below:

Elizabeth Avenue, Little Chalfont
Packhorse Road, Gerrards Cross
Lent Rise Road, Burnham
Rowliff Road, High Wycombe

In the coming week TfB maintenance programmes continue on minor roads due to the Christmas embargo.

Cheddington Road Pitstone : Tuesday 16th December 2014 – Wednesday 17th December 2014

These are preparation works to the footway in advance of slurry sealing

Tubwell Road Estate, Wexham Street : Ongoing – Saturday 20th December
These are preparation works to the footway in advance of slurry sealing

Fowler Road, Aylesbury (visit 1) : Ongoing – Friday 19th December
These are conventional surfacing works to the footway

Lent Rise Road, Burnham : Saturday 13th December – Sunday 14th December
These are slurry surfacing works to the footway

Eastwood Road, Stokenchurch : Monday 15th December – Tuesday 16th December
These are slurry surfacing works to the footway

Kingsway, Chalfont St Giles : Monday 15th December – Saturday 20th December
These are preparation works to the footway in advance of slurry sealing

After these works, the TfB programmes shut down for two weeks until the 5th January 2015.
