Christmas message from the Chairman of Wycombe District Council
The Chairman of Wycombe District Council, Councillor Lesley Clarke OBE, has issued a Christmas message.
The message is as follows :
‘Season’s greetings from Wycombe District Council
Since becoming Chairman of Wycombe District Council in May, I’ve had the pleasure and the privilege of finding out about some of the district’s incredible (and often unsung) charity, voluntary and community organisations. This is in addition to the hard work of Wycombe District Council and other councils within the district, local schools and businesses – the list could go on. At Christmas time especially, it is truly heartening to know that there are so many people within our district who are giving their time and energy to help others to succeed and to make where we live a better place. I hope that over the next few weeks, we will all take a moment to reflect on our achievements over the year, as individuals and as a community, and how we can continue to help ourselves and those around us to flourish in 2015.
On behalf of everyone at Wycombe District Council, I would like to send my best wishes to you all for Christmas and the new year. I hope that 2015 will bring you future success and that we may continue to work both for you and with you to make the Wycombe district a great place to live, work, visit and do business.
Wishing you all a very happy Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous new year.
Councillor Lesley Clarke OBE
