Woman, 54, charged with fraud by false representation after allegedly claiming fraudulent refunds at John Lewis in High Wycombe
A 54 year old woman from London has been charged with eight counts of fraud by false representation after allegedly claiming fraudulent refunds at John Lewis shops including the branch in High Wycombe.
The woman, of no fixed abode, was arrested on Tuesday 16th December 2014 and charged the next day.
The charges relate to fraudulent refunds being paid to a customer at John Lewis shops in High Wycombe, Leicester, Oxford Street in London, Southampton, Cambridge and Kingston Upon Thames. The offences are reported to have happened between Sunday 16th November and Sunday 14th December 2014.
The woman appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 18th December 2014 where she was remanded to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on Friday 2nd January 2015.
