Car collides with 11,000-volt electricity sub-station in Chesham

A car was in collision with 11,000-volt electricity sub-station at Greenway Parade, Greenway, Chesham during the early afternoon of Monday 29th December 2014.

Firefighters were called at 1.17pm and one fire appliance with crew was despatched to the incident from Chesham fire station together with one from Amersham fire station. An officer also attended.

A man and a woman travelling in the car were not injured.

The firefighters at the scene used bolt-cutters and set up a cordon.

The incident was left with electricity engineers.
