The Communities Fund programme managed by the National Energy Foundation (NEF) is making available grants of up to £6,000 towards the cost of solid wall insulation (external or internal) for residents in selected streets in the Oakridge area of High Wycombe.

The grant is open to both owner occupied and private rented properties. In addition to the grant, depending on eligibility and the size of the home, additional funding may be available from the Energy Company Obligation (ECO). This is likely to be between £400 to £950 per home.

Grants are given on a first come first served basis, the programme will run until March 2015 unless funding runs out before that date. Those receiving the grants will still need to provide a contribution towards the cost of improvements.
