Shortly after 12.00pm on Wednesday 4th February 2015 a man entered the HSBC bank in the High Street, Marlow and threatened staff with a knife.
Nothing was stolen and the man left empty-handed. No one was injured during the incident.
The offender is described at white, 5ft 10ins, slim, with dark hair. He was wearing sunglasses and had his face covered.
A 19 year old man from Marlow has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently in police custody.
Det Sgt Richard Earl, from High Wycombe Force CID, said: ‘A team of detectives is currently investigating this incident. Although no one was hurt during the attempted robbery, the members of staff in the bank are understandably shaken.
