Motorcyclist, 24, seriously injured in accident on A4010 Aylesbury Road at Askett, near Princes Risborough

At around 9.50pm on Tuesday 24th February 2015 a motorcyclist was travelling on the A4010 Aylesbury Road at Askett, near Princes Risborough when it is believed he came off his blue and white Yamaha motorcycle.

It is thought he then was involved in a collision with a blue Peugeot 208 car.

The motorcyclist, a 24 year old man, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where he is being treated for serious head injuries.

The road was closed for three hours while police carried out an investigation and the road was cleared.

Thames Valley Police are appealing for anyone with information about this incident to please contact PC 5582 Matt Booker at Amersham Roads Policing via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
