Man, 70, charged with theft of money from The Royal British Legion in Aylesbury

On Monday 16th March 2015 a 70 year old man of Paterson Road in Aylesbury was charged by Police in relation to four counts of theft of money from The Royal British Legion.

The charges relates to the theft of over £16,000 from bank accounts belonging to The Royal British Legion and more than £20,000 from charity collection poppy tins located across Aylesbury Vale between January 2011 and December 2014.

The man was bailed to appear at Aylesbury Magistrates’ Court on Monday 27th April 2015.
