Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Wycombe Wanderers

Wycombe Wanderers maintained their place in the automatic promotion zone of League Two with a one goal away win over Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday 29th March 2015.

The windy conditions did not stop the Blues from dominating the game, fifteen minutes in Sam Wood came close to scoring but his shot from the centre of the box was saved.

Aaron Pierre and Alfie Mawson also has shots saved in the twenty seventh and twenty ninth minutes respectively. It was Aaron Pierre who made the breakthrough in the sixty fourth minute with a close range shot.

Although Dagenham & Redbridge played well they were no match for the Chairboys. Wycombe managed sixteen shots on goal (five on target) while Dagenham could only manage seven shots on goal (two on target).

Wycombe had 55% possession compared to just 45% for Dagenham. Wycombe made eleven fouls to Dagenham’s thirteen.

The win was Wycombe’s twelfth away victory of the season and they remain in third position in League Two with seventy four points from thirty nine games.

The attendance at Victoria Road was 2,362.
