Wimbledon 0-0 Wycombe Wanderers
To keep their automatic promotion hopes alive Wycombe Wanderers were looking for a victory against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday 18th April 2015.
Rather than a win the Chairboys had to settle for a goalless draw, severely denting the chances of automatic promotion. With Bury two points behind and a game in hand it looks very much as if Wycombe may be sliding towards a play-off battle if they want to go up to the league above.
The game itself, although exiting was lacking in attacking football but fouls were aplenty.
Wycombe managed just four shots on goal (two on target) while only one of Wimbledon’s eight shots at goal was on target however the match saw thirty three fouls (twelve for Wycombe and twenty one for Wimbledon).
After today’s disappointing performance Wycombe remain in third position in League Two on eighty one points from forty four games.
The attendance at Kingsmeadow was 4,535.
