Two Buckinghamshire businesses receive awards in Queen’s Birthday Awards for Enterprise

Her Majesty The Queen has recognised two Buckinghamshire companies in her 2015 Birthday Awards for Enterprise, the Award’s 50th anniversary year.

RWS Group Ltd. of Chalfont St Peter and Curo Consulting Ltd. of Marlow are among 141 businesses who have won the accolade this year

Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher, Buckinghamshire’s Lord Lieutenant, will present the awards on behalf of The Queen to both companies at ceremonies during the summer.

Sir Henry said: ‘The Award’s aims of promoting excellence and driving economic growth seem as relevant as ever, particularly in the light of our national efforts to boost exports.

It’s good to see Curo, one of the county’s numerous small companies, honoured – a great tribute to Buckinghamshire as the entrepreneurial heart of Britain.‘

Sir Henry congratulated the RWS Group which has won the Queen’s Award for the fifth time, first in 1987, then in 1994, 2004, and 2009.
