Fatal collision in Plomer Green Lane, Downley claims life of man, 32, from High Wycombe

A 32 year old man from High Wycombe has died following a collision between a car and two other vehicles in Plomer Green Lane, Downley.

At 2.20am on Monday 4th May 2015 a Volkswagen Golf was involved in a collision with a flat bed lorry and a Citroen Berlingo in Plomer Green Lane, Downley.

A 32 year old man from High Wycombe who was a passenger in the Volkswagen Golf was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital where, on Monday 4th May 2015, he died from his injures. His next of kin of have been informed.

Two other men travelling in the Golf were taken by ambulance to Stoke Mandeville Hospital. One of the occupants sustained serious injuries and the other sustained minor injuries.

The road was closed while officers investigated the circumstances of the collision.

Investigating officer PC Alastair Nicholls, from the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing, said: ‘I would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision or saw the vehicles travelling prior to the collision.
