Man, 46, charged with attempted murder of a police officer following incident in High Wycombe

A 46 year old man, of no fixed abode, was charged by Thames Valley Police on Tuesday 7th July 2015 following a disturbance in High Wycombe.

The charges relate to an incident that occurred at a block of flats in Olympic Way, High Wycombe in the early hours of Saturday 4th July 2015.

The man was charged with one count of :

  • Assault a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm.
  • False imprisonment.
  • Harassment.
  • Section 18 – attempt wounding with intent.
  • Attempted murder.
  • Affray.
  • Criminal damage to property.

The attempted murder charge relates to the attempted murder of a police officer. The assault charge is in relation to a woman who reported being assaulted.

The man was due to appear at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 8th July 2015.
