Second dog seized by police under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 in High Wycombe
Police have seized a second dog under the Dangerous Dogs Act in High Wycombe.
It comes after a 42 year old woman suffered life-changing injuries to her arm and hand after being attacked by a Mastiff in Buckingham Drive at about 7.45am on Saturday 11th July 2015.
The woman’s pet chihuahua was killed by the Mastiff.
Thames Valley Police executed a warrant under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 at a property in Tilling Crescent, High Wycombe at about 8.00pm on Saturday 11th July 2015. A dog was seized during the warrant.
On Monday 13th July 2015 a second dog was seized in the same street by police.
Both dogs are currently being cared for in welfare kennels and will not return to the address.
Thames Valley Police is preparing a case under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 for the Crown Prosecution Service regarding the incident.
