Wycombe based motor education charity Skidz goes into liquidation

It has been announced that the charity Skidz, based in Leigh St, High Wycombe, has gone into liquidation.

The charity provided industry-recognised training and education in motor vehicle maintenance to young people of all alibities through a range of courses, from School Courses, including GCSE’s, through to Diploma Levels 1 and 2 and Apprenticeships.

The charity also worked with young people who may have special requirements with the objective of re-engaging them with learning and helping them to achieve meaningful qualifications and work experience.

The shock announcement of the charity entering liquidation was made at a meeting on Monday 27th July 2015 by Cllr Ian McEnnis the Chairman of Wycombe District Council.
