Man, 25, charged and three others arrested following car thefts and burglaries in South Buckinghamshire
A 25 year old man of Beechcroft, Chesham was charged on Saturday 1st August 2015 in connection with burglaries and car thefts that took place at three addresses in the Chiltern and South Buckinghamshire area at the end of July 2015.
The man has been charged with three counts of burglary and three counts of thefts of motor vehicles. He was arrested on Thursday 30th July 2015.
Three other men, aged 32, 25 and 23, all from the Chesham area were also arrested on suspicion of the same offences.
The charges and arrests relate to incidents where offenders broke into homes, stole car keys and then stole the associated vehicles.
Vehicles that were taken include a Mercedes Benz and a BMW both of which have been recovered. A variety of other suspected stolen items were also recovered such as jewellery, a television, iPads and car keys.
The offences took place between Friday 24th July 2015 and Thursday 30th July 2015 at the following locations:
- Cross Lanes, Chalfont St Peter, Gerrards Cross
- Green Lane, Chesham Bois
- Penn Avenue, Chesham
The man charged with the offences has been released on bail and is due to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 3rd September 2015.
The three other men arrested in connection with the same offences have been released on bail until Friday 11th September 2015.
