High Wycombe Society to hold a Big Picnic on The Rye – Sunday 9th August 2015

On Sunday 9th August 2015, from 12.00pm to 4.00pm, the High Wycombe Society together with the Open Spaces Society, will be holding a Big Picnic on The Rye, London Road, High Wycombe.

Entertainment will include a jester and circus skills workshop for children to enjoy. There will also be Morris Dancing, music, a yoga class and guided Water Trail.

The millers from Pann Mill will be present to explain the working of the historic mill which was restored by the High Wycombe society.

A photographic exhibition will show the many and various ways The Rye has been enjoyed over the years with a timeline linking events in High Wycombe to national events from the 1970s to the new millennium.

The Open Spaces Society, this year celebrating 150 years, and the Chiltern Society will have stalls where you can learn about the organisations and their activities.
