Man injured in collision between van and lorry on the M40

During the early hours of Friday 7th August 2015 a man was injured in a collision between a van and a lorry that occurred on the Northbound carriageway of the M40 between Junction 3 (Loudwater) and Junction 4 (Handy Cross).

Firefighters were called at 4.43am. Two fire appliances with crews attended the scene from Beaconsfield fire station and one from Gerrards Cross fire station.

The injured man managed to escape from the wreckage of the vehicle hew was travelling in before the firefighters arrived at the scene.
