Wycombe Wanderers 1-1 Dagenham and Redbridge

Wycombe Wanderers maintained remain unbeaten this season but were lucky to escape with a draw in their match against Dagenham and Redbridge on Saturday 22nd August 2015.

Just seven minutes into the match Matt McClure, a former Blues player, put the ball into the Wycombe goal giving Dagenham an early lead.

However fifteen minutes before the end of the match McClure was shown the red card after committing a second bookable offence.

Dagenham maintained their lead until injury time at the end of the second half when Aaron Pierre scored a headed goal from a cross by Michael Harriman.

In a match that saw thirty four fouls (sixteen by Wycombe players and eighteen by Dagenham) the overall standard of the football may not have been the most entertaining but Wycombe secured a draw and remain in second position in League Two with ten points from four games.

Wycombe managed sixteen attempts on goal, four on target, compared to Dagenhams four attempts, all of which were on target.

The attendance at Adams Park was 3,343 (104 from Dagenham and Redbridge).
