Arrest made after man, 24, was assaulted and knocked unconscious in Stokenchurch
Between approximately 7.45pm and 8.30pm on Sunday 13th September 2015 a 24 year old man was assaulted and knocked unconscious in a car park at Oxford Road, Stokenchurch.
The victim was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital and is currently being treated for injuries which could result in the loss of vision in one eye.
A 51 year old man from Stokenchurch has been arrested by Thames Valley Police on suspicion of wounding with intent to commit grievous bodily harm and released on police bail until Monday 26th October 2015.
Det Con Criona Riordan of Force CID based at Wycombe police station said: ‘The victim has sustained injuries which may affect him for the rest of his life.
There were a number of people in the area at the time of the incident and I would ask any witnesses to come forward.’
