Motorcyclist injured in collision on the A40 West Wycombe Road, High Wycombe

A road traffic collision occurred on the A40 West Wycombe Road, High Wycombe at about 4.40pm on Tuesday 15th September 2015.

The collision involved a grey GRS 125 motorcycle and a black Vauxhall Astra which were both travelling towards the town centre.

The Astra, which was driven by an Asian woman who was wearing a head covering, failed to stop and continued towards the town centre.

A female riding the motorcycle suffered injuries in the collision and was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital for treatment to her left ankle but has since been discharged.

PC Sarah Phillips, from the Thames Valley Roads Policing Unit based at Amersham,  said: ‘I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle before it happened.
