Naked man seen near Lowndes Park, Chesham

| September 29, 2015

At about 6.30pm on Tuesday 28th September 2015 a woman reported seeing a naked man at the junction of two footpaths from Chartridge Lane and Pednor Road near Lowndes Park, Chesham.

The man started to get dressed and did not approach the woman. He was white, around 50 years of age, with a broad build and distinctive brown ‘basin-style’ haircut.

Sgt James Ellis, Neighbourhood Sergeant based at Chesham Police Station, said: ‘I would like to reassure people that although this is a well frequented footpath close to Chiltern Hill Academy, this incident happened outside of school hours and the man did not display any threatening behaviour.

I understand that the man may have been seen by other members of the public and we would like to speak to them.

We are increasing patrols in the local area and I would appeal to anyone with any information about the incident to get in touch by calling 101.

If you do not want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
