Two teenage girls arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm following incident in Burnham Park
On Thursday 29th October 2015 two teenage girls, a 15 year old and a 17 year old both from Slough, were arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
The arrests are in connection with an ongoing investigation in to a firearms incident that occurred in Burnham on Sunday 25th October 2015.
During the incident, which occurred in Burnham Park, two boys, one aged 15 and the other aged 17, were discovered with injuries believed to have been caused by a discharged firearm. Both victims are recovering from their injuries.
The scene watch which Police put place in Burnham Park has now been lifted.
Thames Valley Police is continuing to investigate the incident and anyone with information which could assist the investigation is asked to call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.

The two 18 year old men, a 24 year old man and a 15 year old boy, arrested on Tuesday 27th October 2015 on suspicion of attempted murder remain in police custody.
