Homebase issue product recall for LED night light that could explode
Homebase, the national DIY retailer, have issued a product recall inrespect of thier ‘Baby start LED night light’ following safety concerns.
The product was made without an internal fuse and as a result in certain situations this may lead to premature failure of other components.
Should there be a spike in the electrical current it’s possible the product may fail and emit smoke or cause a small explosion.
The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant national standard.
