Collection raises £250 for Scannappeal and Wycombe Youth Action

Following a collection held in Wycombe town centre almost £250 has been raised for Scannappeal and Wycombe Youth Action.

The collection was organised by staff at Excel Office Supplies in High Wycombe.

Lindsay Horler, Marketing Director of Excel, said ‘Scannappeal have been a regular customer of Excel for several years and we wanted to do something to support their Digital and 3D Breast Screening Appeal. This campaign has given us a chance to support a local charity and a customer of ours. Scannappeal does such extraordinary work in the community, and is an asset to Wycombe Hospital and to our local residents.‘

The funds raised will go towards a £500,000 project at Wycombe Hospital to improve diagnosis of early breast cancer which will benefit around 23,000 women each year.
