Pedestrian, 52, dies following collision with a vehicle in Burnham
An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a fatal collision in Burnham on Monday 7th December 2015.
At around 6.15pm a male pedestrian, aged 52, was walking in Green Lane, Burnham with another man. The 52 year old pedestrian was involved in a collision with a blue Mercedes-Benz vehicle which stopped at the scene.
The pedestrian died at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.
The other man was uninjured.
The road was closed while officers investigated the circumstances of the collision. It was reopened by 9.00pm.
Investigating officer PC Alan Turnbull, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: ‘I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision as they may have information which could assist the investigation. I would also like to speak to anyone who saw the blue Mercedes-Benz travelling prior to the collision or the two men walking in the area before the collision.‘
