Witness appeal launched following two violent incidents in High Wycombe

Sometime between about 2.00am and 2.30am on Saturday 31st October 2015 a 28 year old woman was struck in the mouth on the dance floor of Yates in Frogmoor, High Wycombe causing two of her teeth to fall out.

At about 3.00am her friend, a 28 year old man, was outside the Charcoal Grill kebab shop in Frogmoor when he was pushed and chased down the street. He fell to the floor and was punched and kicked. The man was also racially abused. He suffered cuts and scratches to his face.

The man’s black Galaxy Note 4 mobile phone was taken during the incident.

Thames Valley Police are linking the two incidents.

Sgt Holly Cannon, of Wycombe Local CID, said: ‘It was a busy time of night with people in the venue and at the take away after a night out.

We believe the same offenders may have been involved in both incidents.

We take incidents such as these particularly seriously and I’d like anyone who saw what happened to get in touch.

Thames Valley Police area appealing for anyone with information on the incidents that could help with their enquiries to contact Sgt Holly Cannon via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
