Police launch investigation following suspected stabbing in High Wycombe town centre

Thames Valley Police is investigating an alleged incident of disorder that took place in Frogmoor, High Wycombe on Monday 21st December 2015.

At about 8pm on Monday 21st December 2015 police officers attended Frogmoor, High Wycombe following reports of a man being chased and stabbed.

Before police arrived the victim had left the area. He was described as wearing a padded jacket and there was no sign of blood at the scene. The extent of his injuries is not known.

A knife was recovered by police officers.

The four offenders were described as 15 to 16 year old Asian and black boys. One was about 5ft 6ins and slim. They were wearing dark clothing. One was wearing a grey hoody under a coat and the others were wearing dark coats.

Investigating Officer Det Con Chris Hatton, from Force CID based at Wycombe police station, said: ‘We are investigating to establish exactly what happened.

We do not know the extent of the victim’s injuries, or indeed if he was hurt at all, and we are anxious to make contact with him. Our first concern must be for his welfare.

We would like to speak with him to ensure he is well or receiving any medical assistance required.

It is likely a number of people were out celebrating the holiday period. I would urge anyone who saw this incident, or has any information that might assist the investigation, to get in touch.

Thames Valley Police as appealing for anyone with information on the incident to contact Det Con Chris Hatton from Force CID based at Wycombe police station via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
