Firefighters rescue cat and woman suffers burns to her hand following fire in Princes Risborough

Fire broke out in the living room of a property in Eastfield Road, Princes Risborough during the evening of Thursday 24th December 2015.

Firefighters were called at 6.49pm. One fire appliance with crew attended from High Wycombe fire station as well as two from Aylesbury fire station. An officer also attended.

A hose reel, two sets of breathing apparatus and a Positive Pressure Ventilation fan were used during the operation to extinguish the fire.

A woman suffered slight burns to her hand was left in the care of the ambulance service. A cat was rescued by the firefighters, the animal was not injured in the fire.
