Cressex Park & Ride moves to the Handy Cross Hub

On Monday 1st February 2016 the Park & Ride in Cressex moved to a brand new facility located at the new Coachway at the Handy Cross Hub.

The former Park Ride facility, located at Cressex Island, has now closed.

Carousel Buses have taken over the PR1 Park & Ride bus service which links the new Park & Ride at the Handy Cross Hub Coachway site to High Wycombe town centre. The PR1 bus will call at High Wycombe Railway Station, Bus Station and Wycombe Hospital. The PR1 route map and timetable give full service details.

A new bus service, the number 34 operated by Arriva, will allow passengers to travel between the town centre and Cressex, including the Cressex Business Park. The 34 route map and timetable give full service details.

Constructed as part of the Handy X Hub the Coachway includes 400 surface parking spaces and has a purpose built concourse with a waiting room and vending machines. A coffee shop is set to open in the coming few weeks.

Passengers using the Park & Ride can park free of charge for up to 12 hours at the new facility with the car park operating on a Pay & Display system. Parking tickets can be obtained from the machines a the facility for display in users vehicles.
