Bucks County Council open a book of Condolence to honour the memory of Sir Terry Wogan
Buckinghamshire County Council have opened a book of Condolence to honour the memory of Sir Terry Wogan who died on Sunday 31st January 2016 at the age of 77.
Sir Terry, who lived in Buckinghamshire for 40 years, was a Deputy Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire since 2007.
County Council Chairman, Bill Chapple OBE, is inviting visitors to sign and leave their messages and memories of veteran broadcaster. Bill said Sir Terry’s death was a huge loss to the life of the county. ‘He was a great enthusiast for Buckinghamshire and we all loved his particular charm and wit. We’re very thankful for his generous service to the county, and will miss him greatly. Our condolences go to Lady Wogan and the family.‘
The book of Condolence will be available at the reception desk in County Hall, Aylesbury, for two weeks.
