Cash, alcohol and cigarettes stolen during robbery in Farnham Common
At around 8.30pm on Sunday 14th February 2016 armed robbery took place at a Tesco Express store in Farnham Common.
Thee masked offenders walked into the store on the A355 Beaconsfield Road. One of the offenders who was carrying a carving knife jumped over the counter and ordered a member of staff to open the cash drawer.
Another of the offenders told customers to get away from the till area and helped to empty cash from the till into a bag.
The third offender remained at the store entrance, propping open a door ready for the other offenders to leave.
As well as cash, the offenders stole alcohol and cigarettes.
All three offenders had their faces covered and made off on foot southwards along the A355 Beaconsfield Road.
One of the offenders was white and wearing dark tracksuit bottoms and a dark hooded top with red on the chest area.
DS Tracey Benham, of Force CID based at Aylesbury, said: ‘This robbery took place while customers were in the store and we are very keen to speak to them and anyone else who may have information about this incident.
This was a very frightening experience for both them and the two members of staff who were in the store. Fortunately, no-one was injured.
I’d like to reassure everyone that we are investigating this fully and would ask anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact us via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.‘
