Police appeal for information following arson in Chesham
At around 9.25pm on Saturday 13th February 2016 four vehicles were set on fire in Springfield Road, Chesham, the resulting fire caused damage to a further four vehicles.
Two offenders were seen running away and making off in a small white van. Both men were black, medium build and wearing dark clothing.
A 28 year old man from High Wycombe has been arrested on suspicion of arson and bailed until Tuesday 22n March 2016.
Investigating officer PC David Mitchell, of Local CID at Amersham police station, said: ‘I would like to reassure the local community that we are conducting a thorough investigation. If anyone saw anything suspicious or has any information, please contact us.
While we do not believe there is any cause for alarm for the wider community, anyone with concerns can speak to their local Neighbourhood Policing Team.‘
