Fire broke out in the bedroom of a property in Beaconsfield

Fire broke out in the bedroom of a property in Lakes Lane, Beaconsfield during the evening of Sunday 21st February 2016.

Firefighters were called at 6.52pm. One fire appliance with crew attended from Beaconsfield fire station as well as one from High Wycombe fire station. Also in attendance were volunteers from the British Red Cross Fire and Emergency Support Service based at Marlow Fire Station.

A hose reel, two sets of breathing apparatus and a Positive Pressure Ventilation fan were used during the operation to extinguish the fire. A man who was suffering from the effects of breathing in smoke was given oxygen.
