As part of their campaign to restore lost services the campaign group SaveWycombeHospital is inviting members of the community, their families and friends to join them for a group community picture, with our hands up for a ‘hand back’.

The event will take place at 4.00pm on Sunday 13th March 2016 in the grounds of the All Saints Parish Church in Castle Street, High Wycombe, HP13 6RF (opposite Primark).

Although the SaveWycombeHospital campaign group is apolitical dignitaries from across the political spectrum will be in attendance.

The event is being organised to show we are united in wanting to protect our hospital and restore lost services as well as raising further the profile of the SaveWycombeHospital cause and to get more signatures for the ‘Fair Funding for Buckinghamshire’ petition: https://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/fair-funding-for-buckinghamshire which currently has over 9,150 signatures.

For anyone who finds standing difficult a small number of chairs will be provided.

The photo event will follow and interfaith event which starts at 2.45pm organised by All Saints Church on the topic of ‘Community Members Acting Together with Loving Kindless’ – Syrian Refugee focus. The SaveWycombeHospital photo will follow at 4.00pm and all attending are welcome to join in with the event and with light refreshments after our photo until 4.30pm.

A local videographer has kindly offered to be present to capture comments from those attending the event on why they support the cause. You can view her work here: https://www.facebook.com/thehumantale?__mref=message_bubble.

The SaveWycombeHospital campaign group aims to protect current services at Wycombe Hospital and to see a return of services including A&E and full maternity.
