Wycombe High School submit plans to construct pavillion, dug outs and floodlights
Wycombe High School have applied for planning permission to construct a single storey pavilion, two artificial turf pitches with two dug outs to each pitch and associated floodlighting and fencing at their site at Marlow Road, High Wycombe.
The application was received by Wycombe District Council on Tuesday 16th February 2016 and validated on Tuesday 8th March 2016. The determination deadline is Tuesday 7th June 2016. The planning application reference is 16/05417/FUL.
One of the justifications for the new sports facilities are to help reduce costs for the Hockey Team including transportation and hiring costs, currently £10,500 and £1,950 respectively, and also allow the school teams to increase pitch time as well as skills development.
The Girls’ Grammar School which educates educating 1,353 students aged 12 to 18 was founded in 1901 and given an ‘outstanding’ rating by Ofsted in 2012.
