Public Conveniences in East Richardson Street set to be demolished

A planning application has be submitted to demolish the public conveniences in East Richardson Street, High Wycombe.

An application to demolish the brick built public convenience with flat concrete roof was made on Friday 18th March 2016. Planing application, reference 16/05774/PNP11B, was received by Wycombe District Council on Saturday 19th March 2016 and validated on Tuesday 22nd March.

The toilets were closed permanently on Wednesday 1st April 2009 due to ‘countless acts of vandalism’ which resulted in closures and costly repair bills.

Demolition is expected to be completed, with the site levelled, by Saturday 7th May 2016.
