Lorry and van collided on M40 Northbound between Junction 4 and 5

A collision involving a lorry and a van occurred on the Northbound carriageway of the M40 between Junctions 4 (Handy Cross) and Junction 5 (Stokenchurch) during the early morning of Wednesday 27th April 2016.

At 5.39pm firefighters were called to the incident. Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station as well as one from Marlow fire station. An officer was also present at the scene.

Hydraulic rescue equipment was used during the operation to extricate a man who had been travelling in the van.
