Woman, 65, robbed while walking through the underpass in Micklefield Road

On Saturday 23rd April 2016, between 1.30pm and 2.30pm, a 65 year old woman was walking through the underpass on Micklefield Road when a man ran up behind, grabbed her handbag and ran off.

The offender dropped the handbag but made off with the victim’s purse. The man is described as being around 30 years old, approximately 6ft tall, slim with light brown hair and was wearing blue jeans and a black jacket.

Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the offender in the area or anyone acting suspiciously around this time. Anyone with information is being asked to contact PC Mark Martin via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101 using reference 43160111443.
